Tom Lynch to coach Tigers in 2011 premiership defence.

The Eden Tigers are full steam ahead for their 2011 premiership defence. English import Tom Lynch (pictured celebrating the 2010 victory) has been appointed first grade coach for season 2011. The Tigers have also recruited two other potential English stars in Sam Ellam and Phil Crosby. Phil played in WA last year and played for WA against a representative Maori side. Both Sam and Phil have played in Academy Football in England, which is the youth league attached to the Super League clubs. Local legend Bart Thompson is also returning from a stint in England. Bart represented Group 16 and terrorised opposition defences when last at home and it will be great to see him back.
